Last UK Show of the Year + Moving to USA!

The tour is almost over, we just have one show left on Friday (in Lichfield) before we go our separate ways once more… but not for long this time.

We are over the moon to announce that Robert has been approved for a US visa and we will be relocating stateside at the end of the year! It’s been too long since we’ve been able to see our American pals and we can’t wait to see y’all. We are starting to sketch out some plans for the new year and we hope to be back on the road in your direction. What venues would you like to see us play?

In the meantime we’re stoked that Banjo Jen will be joining us for the tour finale this Friday at The Hub @ St. Mary’s in Lichfield., along with Mike on bass and our very special guests Farefeld (previously know as Chris Elliott and Caitlin Jones). Tickets are selling fast so make sure to grab a seat! Get tickets here

Thanks to all of you who have come out and supported us on this tour, it’s been a hard year for a lot of people in the UK, financially, politically, emotionally, and we’re grateful that we can still be bringing music to you. It’s times like these that we all need it most.

We hope to see some of you at the show. See you further down the road!

From London to Sheffield - Tour Update from the road

The tingle of stinging nettles and heady aromas of hawthorn and cut grass bring waves of nostalgia as the Dorset countryside blooms in the sunshine. With Dartmouth harbour in our rearview and London on the horizon, we take a pause to write this email to you — almost a third of the way into our tour.

Thanks to all who came out to our shows in Scotland, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Manchester, and Dartmouth. The last 700 miles have been a rollercoaster of new places, new faces, some intense shows, a bit of van trouble (though it’s doing alright now) and the gloriously varied countryside of the UK.

Our next stop is Camden in London this Sunday. If you’ve seen the tour videos we have been putting out (the one with the red velvet drapes behind us) then you’re familiar with the stage at Green Note, where we will be playing. It’s a fantastic, intimate venue that have always treated us well. If you’re in the area and are around on Sunday, we would love to see you at the show. Tickets are available here.

On Wednesday, we’re up in Robert’s ancestral hometown, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We’re sharing the bill with local songwriter, Banjo Jen, and Scottish folksinger, Caitlin Gilligan. As well as being good friends, these two are top shelf performers and it’s sure to be a great night. Tickets available here.

While we’re in London, Robert will have his medical examination in preparation for his Green Card interview. Three years ago, we began the process to apply for him to come and live in the USA and we’re finally at the last few stages. Fingers crossed it all goes well and we can be stateside soon, bringing our music back to its American roots.

If you are in the UK catch us while you can, and if you are in the USA and beyond, we hope to see you before too long!

New Music Video - "Ode to the Leaving of Liverpool"

Greetings folks, we’ve got a brand new music video to share with you!
This is the second single from our new album “Call of the Road”.
We made it ourselves (with a little camera help from a friend or two). We filmed in three locations; Paris, Weston-Super-mare, and Iceland (after winning the Reunite in Reykyavik competition).
Check out the video on youtube, and please go ahead and give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, and share it with a friend. All of this helps us along the way!

We have recently arrived in Mexico where we’ll be for the next three months. We plan on doing some live-streams while we’re here and we hope to line up some live shows in Mexico City, Oaxaca, and who knows, we might even make it to Guatemala. If you’re in those areas and would like to catch a performance then get in touch!

Until then, we’ll see you further down the road
