One week in and 33% funded!
Thanks to everyone who has liked, shared, and donated, our album Kickstarter is off to a great start! We’ve already reached £3,337 of our goal (£10,000) and that’s all in the first week!
We still have a ways to go over the next 22 days so if you haven’t already, go check out the project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/robertjmagpieackson/a-different-threads-sophomore-album
As well as the reward of your choice, when you donate you gain access to all kinds of bonus posts that are exclusive to backers (including videos from our recent band practice and a glimpse of what’s to come for this release).
Yesterday, music blog No Depression featured us in an article on their website and we also got featured by Kickstarter themselves as a ‘Project We Love’.
We will continue to promote the campaign, and so can you.
Tell your families and friends, spread the word!
Together we can bring this music to life.
Thank you for the continued support,
Robert and Alicia

Live-Stream This Sunday + New Demo 'Sorrow Brings Me Joy'
The stars have aligned and we are back online for a live stream concert this Sunday. We will be broadcasting live from the Emerald Isle to bring some musical relief to the end of your week and celebrate the launch of our Patreon page!
Show starts at 8 PM GMT (3 PM ET) Sunday, December 6th. Join via our Facebook or Instagram page.
Yes, our Patreon page is just out of the gate and we are thrilled to have 13 Patrons already! (Beethoven only had 3, ha). We're staying busy creating content for our patrons, including this video for the home recording of our new song, Sorrow Brings Me Joy.
We are grateful to have this new platform to connect with our growing online community. This Sunday we invite our Patrons to a ‘Green Room’ video chat for the half-hour leading up to the gig (7:30 GMT). This will be a chance to field questions, recurve feedback, take song requests for the gig and get to know our patrons some more. To join the Green Room chat and gain access to the new exclusive content, become a Patron today!

Patreon Launch + New Music Video
It’s been a busy few weeks for us… and the whole world for that matter!
As the election and the pandemic continue to dominate the news cycle, we can see the difficult road ahead. We all have a lot of work cut out for us, and a long way to go.
To supplement all that, and to help pace ourselves, we are trying to focus on the positives:
The rising of the sourdough, the joy of working up a new tune, a long warm bath...
And...
Our Patreon page has just launched!
We're so excited to be on this new platform and to welcome our first Patrons!
Through Patreon we are offering a window into our creative process, a place for us to share ideas, works in progress, and enrich our community.
We have set up four tiers with various perks and prices, so that Patrons can choose the rewards they want and pledge the amount that works for them.
Every month we will release new exclusive content for our Patrons, including; songs, videos, and other never before seen/heard materials!
In other good news we are thrilled to announce that the new music video for 'Cruel Mother' is being premiered by 'Folk Radio UK' TODAY!

Music is helping us through these hard times, we hope it helps you too.
