Outside the blood moon eclipse brings a brief moment of calm to a very busy week. We pause everything and watch, passing my grandfather’s binoculars around. “Is this what we’re doing now?” My brother asks “just watching it?”
It felt like the thing to do.
Behind the scenes, we’re deep in emails and getting our ducks in a row for the upcoming release. But it’s not all marketing meetings. Sometimes it’s:
• Enjoying the sunshine while I walk around Pittsboro and Bynum to put up posters for our Bynum General Store gig (March 22nd).
• Designing new stickers, t-shirts, and fun merch—our friend Cat is even lending us a button maker (that’s “badge maker” for you UK folks)!

It’s almost 9 years since Robert and I met—a chance encounter on the day after St. Paddy’s Day! And we’re celebrating March 18th with some good old fashioned busking and what we are calling a ‘triskele live stream’—one song each on our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
